Panel description:

"Sustainable finance has moved from the margins to the mainstream as innovation in financial instruments, products and services evolves at pace to mobilise the trillions of euros required to meet the SDGs and Paris Agreement goals. But is the industry expanding fast enough to keep up with both demand and to drive progress towards a more sustainable economy? What gaps remain to fully integrate sustainability into the banking and finance ecosystem - are sustainable finance markets mirroring ESG activities in the real economy? Is the potential of tech-enabled finance being realised? To what extent are new structures, such as securitisation, blended finance and public private partnerships, being explored to speed up transition efforts? Is greater action from policy makers needed to accelerate sustainable finance markets"
